BC Top 50 isn't just about the players. We're running a parallel coach development track — bringing aspiring and established coaches into the room to learn from Coach Korner and the university staffs.

Open to high school, club, and aspiring coaches from across the province.

How the day flows.

9:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Observation & Discussion

Full access to all camp sessions, team practices, and live competition. Ask questions during breaks and lunch with Coach Korner and the visiting university staffs.

Coaching Session

Daily clinic with Coach Raoul Korner and university staff covering offensive and defensive systems, culture, video analysis, and modern player development.

Open networking time to connect with fellow coaches, share ideas, and build relationships across the BC and U Sports coaching community.

Raoul Korner

Austrian professional basketball coach with over 25 years at the highest levels of the game — spanning Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and Taiwan.

Multiple League and Cup Championships in Austria and the Netherlands, with Coach of the Year honours throughout his career. Former Head Coach of the Austrian Men's National Team (2021 EuroBasket qualifiers).

Currently head coach of the Tainan TSG GhostHawks of Taiwan's P. League+, Coach Korner brings professional-level tactical instruction to the next generation of Canadian prospects through BC Top 50.

Every U Sports and CCAA program in British Columbia has been invited to send coaching staff to BC Top 50, meaning every rep is coached and observed by the province's top programs. Confirmed attendees include:

High school, club, and aspiring coaches from across BC and beyond. The track is open application — no prior level of experience required.
Each day combines live clinics with Coach Korner, observation access to player camp sessions, and roundtables with the university coaching staffs in attendance.
Both. Coaches have full observation access to all camp sessions and team practices, plus dedicated clinic time with Coach Korner and U Sports staff for direct discussion.
Yes — coaches who complete the four-day track will have their professional development hours logged to their NCCP coaching locker.
